Rules Regarding Children
All children under 12 must have an adult (age 19 and up) actively engaged in the water with them unless they have passed a swim test, are signed in with the lifeguard, and are wearing identification. We encourage all youth to demonstrate swimming ability to the lifeguard on duty.
All children under the age of 8, must have an adult with them at all times anywhere in the the facility, no exceptions.
Children 8-11 may be left in the pool without an adult if they have passed the swim test and have been signed in with the lifeguard on duty. An adult must still stay in the faciliy and must sign the child out when they leave.
Swim Test: In order to pass the swim test, a child must be able to swim 25 yards, changing body positions at least once (front to back, back to front), and be able to tread water for 30 seconds.
Proper Attire
Swim suits are required for anyone entering the swimming pool or spa. See through, sheer, or mesh tops and bottoms are not permitted unless worn over an appropriate swim suit. Thongs and other revealing swimwear are not permitted. Any type of frayed or cut off shorts, pants, or shirts are not permitted. Aquatic (water) shoes are permitted provided that they are clean and have not been worn as street shoes.
